Return & Refund Policy — FoneKart

1. Overview

At FoneKart, we are committed to ensuring you are completely satisfied with your purchase. We sell Brand New Old Stock and Certified Refurbished Nokia mobile phones from our Delhi-based store. This policy explains your rights and our process for returns, replacements, and refunds.


2. Return Eligibility Window

We offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery for all products.

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • The issue must be reported within 14 days of delivery
  • The device must be in the same condition as received
  • All original accessories, charger, and packaging supplied by FoneKart must be included
  • The device must not show any physical damage, cracks, or liquid damage caused after delivery
  • The IMEI number on the device must match the IMEI on your order confirmation

3. Valid Reasons for Return

We accept returns for the following reasons:

  • Device received is different from what was ordered
  • Device has a manufacturing defect present at the time of delivery
  • Device is not powering on or is completely non-functional upon receipt
  • Significant cosmetic condition mismatch from what was described on the product page
  • Missing accessories that were explicitly listed as included on the product page

4. Non-Returnable Situations

Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Return request raised after 14 days from delivery date
  • Physical damage caused by the customer after delivery (broken screen, water damage, etc.)
  • Device has been tampered with or repaired by a third party
  • IMEI number has been altered or removed
  • Normal wear and tear for refurbished devices that was disclosed on the product page
  • Customer changed their mind after purchase with no defect reported

5. Refurbished Device Condition Disclosure

All refurbished devices sold by FoneKart are pre-owned devices that have been professionally inspected, tested, cleaned, and restored to working condition. Minor cosmetic imperfections such as light scratches on the body may be present and are disclosed on each product page. These do not qualify as defects for return purposes.


6. Brand New Old Stock Disclosure

Brand New Old Stock devices are original unused Nokia phones from sealed old stock. These devices have never been activated or used. Original sealing may show age-related wear due to storage. This does not qualify as a defect.


7. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, follow these steps:

  1. Contact us within 14 days of delivery via:
  2. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs or a video of the defect
  3. Our team will review your request within 2 business days and confirm eligibility
  4. If approved, we will provide you with the return shipping address and instructions
  5. Pack the device securely with all accessories and ship it back to us

8. Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to a manufacturing defect or our error (wrong item sent), FoneKart will bear the return shipping cost
  • If the return is for any other eligible reason, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns — FoneKart is not responsible for items lost in return transit

9. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect the returned device:

  • Inspection is completed within 2 business days of receiving the return
  • If the return is approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout
  • For COD orders, refunds are processed via bank transfer or UPI — our team will contact you to collect bank details
  • The ₹49 COD confirmation advance is included in the total refund amount

10. Replacement Policy

If you prefer a replacement instead of a refund and the same product is available in stock, we will dispatch a replacement unit after receiving and inspecting the returned device. Replacement dispatch happens within 3 business days of return approval.


11. Warranty Claims

Warranty claims are separate from this return policy. For defects reported after the 14-day return window but within the warranty period, please refer to our Warranty Policy at fonekart.shop/pages/warranty-policy-fonekart or fill out our warranty claim form.
